In addition to the variety of tourist activities that you can do in Bahrain, you can also discover its rich history. Bahrain is an island nation located in the Persian Gulf, off the coasts of Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Its capital, Manama, dazzles those who visit it, a city where the modern and elegant blend with the past. Here, you see yourself inside an Arabian fairy tale strolling through the narrow streets of ancient Arabian neighborhoods.

Are you planning to visit Bahrain? You only need to apply for a Bahrain visa; it is an electronic visa that does not have to be stamped in your passport and is accepted to enter Bahrain. Our iVisa team can help you obtain it and guide you through the application process.

How long can an Indonesian citizen stay in Bahrain?

There are two types of e-visas to visit Bahrain for tourism or business.

  • Single entry e-visa: It is valid for 30 days and allows you to stay in the country for 14 days. You can only enter once; if you wish to return to the country, you must apply for a new e-visa. iVisa does not currently offer this eVisa.

  • Multiple entry e-visa: This visa type is available at iVisa. It is valid for 90 days after arrival and allows you to stay in the country for 30 days per entry. This visa will enable you to enter with the same visa several times.

How do I apply for a Bahrain visa?

Applying for your Bahrain e-visa is easy; our expert team will help you through the process. Just follow the steps below:

  • Step 1: Complete all questions on the visa application form, and have all the documentation handy to write down the requested information.

  • Step 2: Double-check the form to ensure you have answered all the questions and that there are no errors, choose the processing time and make the payment which can be by credit or debit card.

  • Step 3: Upload the scanned documents and the visa application and press enter to submit.

iVisa will send your visa to your email; we recommend you check your inbox and spam folders. Download the visa and print it, so you can show it to immigration officials when you arrive in Bahrain.

What are the requirements and documents required for a Bahrain tourist visa for Indonesian citizens?

The visa requirements for citizens of Indonesia entering Bahrain are:

  • Passport: Your Indonesian passport must be valid for six months beyond the expiry date of entry into Bahrain.

  • Digital photo: One passport-size photo. It must be in color with a white background, facing the camera, and not smiling. The photo cannot be more than six months old. If you do not have a passport photo, iVisa has the solution through its passport photo service. You can have your photo as soon as possible.

  • Airline ticket: A confirmation of your flight with the arrival and departure dates from Bahrain issued by the airline company or an official travel agency.

  • Hotel reservation: A confirmed hotel reservation of where you will stay during your trip. If you are staying with friends, provide the address where you will reside during your visit.

  • Bank statement: Your bank statements for the last 3 months, indicating the applicant's name as the bank account holder and the dates. The bank stamp and balances demonstrate that you have enough money to support yourself during your visit to Bahrain.

  • Email: Your email address where our iVisa team can contact you if they require additional documents in the visa application process.

Bahrain has no COVID-19 restrictions. A PCR test is not required, nor is a certificate of vaccination.

Is medical insurance mandatory in Bahrain?

It is not mandatory to enter Bahrain with travel medical insurance, but we always recommend traveling with insurance. An insurance policy gives you protection as a traveler against various things, such as an accident, illness, or loss of luggage. That is why it is advisable to travel with one that will cover the costs of any unforeseen event.
