In accordance with Canada’s visa policy, Chileans are exempt from acquiring a visa when visiting Canada for short visits. Nevertheless, you still have to get a travel document, but we are talking about a Canada ETA. The authorization can be obtained online, and with iVisa, it can be yours in 30 minutes.

Canada Visa for the citizens of Chile – requirements

What you have to do first is to make sure that you are ready for the online application process. Fortunately, a Canada ETA does not require much information and documents. Here is the list:

  • Valid passport – you cannot apply for a Canada ETA unless you are a passport holder. Your document needs to maintain its validity for at least another 6 months from the date of arrival in Canada.

  • E-mail address – it's vital that you have a current email due to all information about your ETA, we will send you throughout the email. Print your ETA, just in case.

  • Means of payment – for your convenience, we offer you 3 payment methods: credit/debit card and PayPal.

Canada Visa for the citizens of Chile – the online application form

Once you have all the documents, go ahead and fill in the application form. It should not take you more than 20 minutes, notwithstanding if you need help at any point, consult our super agents. The service can be reached via online chat or phone 24/7, and it is entirely free of charge.

iVisa’s form is broken down into three simple steps:

  1. Step one only wants your personal information, passport number, as well as a few details regarding your trip to Canada. You must also select a delivery time for your online request, and keep in mind that the price of your Canada ETA will depend on that. You are given three excellent options:

    • Standard processing –this kind of process has a comfortable price to process your Canada ETA but it takes 2 days, and the sum is USD $103.49.

    • Rush processing – you will obtain your ETA in 24 hours. The amount to pay is USD $137.49.

    • Super Rush processing – your application is processed within 12 hours, and just pay USD $201.49.

  2. Secondly, you need to be extra careful because this is the point at which you have to pay and revise your application. It is crucial that your form contains only the correct information. Otherwise, your ETA will be rejected.

  3. Submit your requirements. We will give you instructions on how to upload them. After you are finished with that as well, you can submit your application, and we will take things further. But your job is done.

What is important to remember is that Chileans do not need to acquire Canada visa per se, but a Canada ETA, which is a lot easier to obtain. The document you receive has a validation of 5 years after issued or until passport expires, it grants Multiple entry and it allows you to be in the nation of Canada for 180 days per entry
