Ireland has introduced an Ireland COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form for travellers entering the country.

WHAT IS THE PASSENGER LOCATOR FORM?
It is a new form introduced in Ireland and here is how it helps relevant authorities:
- To contact you to verify the information you provided on the form in the 14 days following your arrival
- To help you with public health advice relating to COVID-19
- Contact tracing in relation to confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19
This is why it is imperative that you fill the Ireland COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form with accurate details of your contact and travel information and have it on your person at all times for its validity period ie. 15 days from the date of entry.
Do I need a COVID vaccine or vaccination certificate to enter Ireland?
No, you don't. COVID vaccination certificates are not mandatory to enter Ireland. Now if you are a Covid vaccine certificate holder, you won't need to present a negative PCR test nor to follow a quarantine.
Approved vaccines are Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Janssen, Sinovac, Sinopharm, Covaxin, Nuvaxovid.
You are considered vaccinated if all doses of a vaccine against COVID-19 have been administered for at least two weeks before traveling.
Do I need a negative COVID-19 test result to enter Ireland?
- COVID test requirements: There are no testing requirements.
Do I have to remain in quarantine?
- Quarantine requirements: There are no quarantine requirements in Ireland.
IS IT COMPULSORY FOR ME TO FILL IT IN?
This form will help in tracking the spread of coronavirus by monitoring the traveller through the information they have provided through the form. In case of any updates or risk of infection, relevant authorities will alert you of changes.
Given that France is not on Ireland’s COVID-19 Green List, you must fill out the Ireland COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form before entering Ireland. Not doing so is a punishable offence, unless you are:
- A passenger arriving from Northern Ireland
- A passenger leaving their port or airport of arrival without exiting
- A driver of a heavy goods vehicle
- An aircraft or ship crew
- A foreign diplomat
