Yes. The C5 Form is an immigration and customs declaration, not a visa. It is mandatory for everyone, including Jamaican citizens, residents, and visa-exempt tourists (like those from the US, UK, or Canada), entering the country by air.

It depends on your nationality.

• Visa-free: Citizens of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and many Commonwealth/CARICOM countries can enter Jamaica for tourism without a visa (usually for up to 90 days).

• Visa required: Citizens of certain countries in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East must apply for a visa through a Jamaican consulate prior to travel.

• C5 Form requirement: Regardless of visa status, the C5 Form is mandatory for all air passengers.

You will receive a confirmation receipt containing a QR code via email. You must show this QR code to the immigration officer at the airport. You can present it on your phone or as a printed document.

Official government advice suggests taking a screenshot of the QR code/confirmation page in case you have trouble accessing your email upon landing. You can also find a copy of your C5 Form QR code and confirmation in your iVisa dashboard if applied through us.

It depends on your nationality and the discretion of the immigration officer. You are typically granted a stay of up to 90 days upon arrival. Note: The actual date you must leave will be stamped in your passport by an officer at the airport.
