Do UAE citizens need a Kenya ETA?
If you're from the UAE and planning a trip to Kenya, you'll need to apply for a Kenya ETA first. This electronic travel authorization is now necessary for all foreign visitors, replacing the former Kenya eVisa.
The Kenya ETA is generally issued as a single-entry permit. However, there are special circumstances where you can use it multiple times:
-
You're planning to visit one or more of the EAC Partner States (Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda);
-
You'll stay within these countries and not travel out of the EAC;
-
Your ETA is still valid (90 days from the date it's issued).
Here's what you need to know about the Kenya ETA.
