Visa Policy for Libya

Travelers looking to head to Libya that are not exempt from obtaining a visa, will have to complete an application in order to enter the country. The visa was discovered as a valuable tool for government officials in Libya to have the authority to allow travelers to enter their country.

Libya introduced the Libya visa which is available to citizens of countries all over the world. This visa permits travelers to visit Libya for tourist purposes where the traveler is able to stay in Libya for up to 30 days Per Entry.

The visa process is available to be completed online and is a very easy process. This visa, once approved, will have to be proven to immigration officers when a traveler arrives at the port of entry to Libya.

Countries have made agreements with Libya and therefore are not required to obtain a visa before traveling to the country. The following countries are exempt from having to apply for a visa; Jordan, Tunisia, Egypt and the United States. However, Egypt’s visa free status is dependant upon the passport holder being a resident of Matrouh Governorate and the United States visa free status is reliant upon the passport holder who wishes to travel to Libya having a letter from an established company that is located in Libya who is sponsoring the travelers visit. Liberia visa

The Libya visa is available for citizens of many countries across the globe. If a country is not exempt for which a traveler holds a passport, then the traveler will be required to apply for and be approved for, the Libya visa before visiting the country. The traveler must provide proof of a Libya visa to follow the rules of the Libya visa policy.

This visa permits a single entry into Libya and requires that the passport holder have 6 months validity left on the passport before expiration.

The Libya visa allows travelers from countries all over the world the advantage of crossing the Libya border and to enter the country. The maximum allowed stay for a traveler that is permitted by this visa in Libya when in possession of the Libya visa is 30 days per entry. The visa allows it’s holders to have a single entry into the country. When a traveler is filling out this application in completion, they will have to give personal information that will help the government of Libya to make their decision on whether to approve the visa application. The information needed will be the travelers name and date of birth, as well as passport information including issue date, names as per passport, date of expiry and country of origin and a valid email address in order to receive your approved visa.
