What Documents Do I Need for the e-Visa Application?

You will be asked to scan the following documents then upload them with your application in order to be considered for a Malawi e-visa.

• Photo
• Copy of passport details page
• Evidence of accommodation during your stay in Malawi

If your application is for a minor, the following documents will also be needed:

• The minor's birth certificate
• The minor's legal guardian's passport page
• Consent letter

The price of your Malawi e-visa will depend on the processing speed you choose. The e-visa application offers three speeds: standard, rush, and super rush. The price given with each processing speed includes the price of the visa and any processing fees.

How Long Does It Take for My Application to Be Processed?

When you are filling out the Malawi e-visa application, you will be required to choose from three processing speeds:

• Standard Processing: 10 days
• Rush Processing: 9 days
• Super Rush Processing: 7 days

Holders of a Malawi e-visa are allowed a Multiple entry.

What's the Expiration Date for My e-Visa?

Your Malawi e-visa expires 90 days after issued.

Do I Need to Print My e-Visa?

No. However, we do recommend having a hard copy of your visa on you when you arrive in Malawi, in case any unexpected technology problems arise.

How Long Am I Allowed to Stay in Malawi?

If you have a Malawi e-visa, you are allowed a max stay of 90 days per entry.
