The Malawi immigration enforces a maximum stay of 90 days per entry for holders of the Malawi e-visa.

Do I Need to Have My Passport?

Yes. All travelers from Australia who wish to travel to Malawi must have their passport. Your passport needs to be valid for at least six months after you arrive in Malawi. Your e-visa information must match your passport information. Your e-visa is considered not valid if you have conflicting information on your passport and visa.
