What do I need to know about the Malta Schengen Visa for Citizens of Pakistan?
The Malta Schengen Visa is a required travel permit that all Pakistani citizens must obtain before traveling to the country. It grants them access not only to Malta but also to any other country from the Schengen area.
The Malta Schengen Visa is available for one single entry or multiple entries. It has validity for a particular time period determined by the government. The exact category of the Schengen visa you apply for may vary depending on your primary purpose for your trip.
Required documents to obtain the Malta Schengen Visa for citizens of Pakistan
Keep in mind the following list of documents when applying:
- A valid passport: The passport’s expiry date should be at least 3 months after the date of your departure from the Schengen area. In the case of a multiple-entry visa, the passport’s expiry date should be at least 3 months after your departure from the last country visit.
- A completed visa application form.
- A photo in compliance with ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) standards.
- Health insurance: Covering emergency medical, hospitalization, and repatriation (including in case of death).
- Supporting documents: Relating to the purpose of your stay, evidence of financial means during your stay, your accommodation, and your will to return to your home country after your stay. A return flight booking, for example.
- Your fingerprints: Collected when you submit your application (exemptions exist for specific categories of applicants).
- For minors (Under the Age of 18): Birth Certification of Minor, Authorization by both
Parents / Legal Guardians, Copy of passport data page of both parents / legal
guardian. In the Case of guardianship, documentary evidence proving the status.
