COVID-19 Traveling FAQs

1. Is vaccination required to enter the country?

COVID-19 vaccination is not mandatory to enter the country. However, upon arrival, all travelers will be asked for proof of their health conditions: therefore either a vaccination or a ‘negative’ PCR test, or a medical certificate showing having had covid-19 in the previous 6 months, or a covid-19 antibodies certificate will be asked for. Otherwise, travelers will be asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.

2. PCR Test required to enter the country?

Yes, to enter the country it is asked to show a valid and ‘negative’ PCR test, taken within 72 hours from flight departure, unless travelers’ have full vaccination.

3. Quarantine required upon arrival to the country?

There is no mandatory quarantine requirement to enter Moldova for citizens who have taken full vaccination, or can show proof of PCR test. Failure to present one of the stated documents will result in a mandatory 14 days self-isolation.
