Myanmar visa for Colombians

Colombians who will visit Myanmar in the future can now avail of an electronic visa. iVisa is now assisting travelers with Myanmar evisa. This is an equivalent of consular visa. An online application is now possible so Colombians no longer need to go to embassy. Just do your part by verifying if you are qualified using iVisa’s Visa Checker. Choose your country of origin then select Myanmar as your destination. You will be able to apply right away if you are eligible for a Myanmar evisa.

What are the requirements?

Bureaucracy may cause delay for Colombians. Worry no more as iVisa will work this out. Just upload your requirements to get the application process started. Most are just normal requirements so you may already have most of it. Below is the list of what you need to provide:

  • Valid passport – acquiring a passport should be easy and make sure that it is still valid if you already have one. Avoid wasting time and money by making sure that your passport is not yet expired as this will lead to a denied application.

  • Digital photo of yourself – it should be the most recent photo. Make sure that it meets the criteria (white background, no face gestures, etc.)

  • E-mail address – while the visa will be electronically linked to your passport, you need a copy to show at the immigration office in Myanmar. iVisa will send your evisa via e-mail in PDF format. It is advisable to have a spare so print a few copies so that you can put one in each bag.

  • Modes of payment – you will be asked to make the payment for both the visa and service fee for iVisa. Make payment using a credit/debit card or you can use PayPal if you have an account.

Myanmar evisa – the application process

Acquiring a Myanmar visa is a simple process it’s a breeze to accomplish the online form.

  1. Input your general information in the first step. Starting with your e-mail address and name and lastly, with your passport info. Once finished putting in your details, select the processing time which your visa cost is determined.

  2. You should review your details and maybe, do a revision in step two. It is highly recommended that Colombians input all details with 100 % accuracy. You are no longer allowed to revise once your application was processed. Once you are sure that all details are correct, you can pay by following the on-screen guide.

Processing time and cost

  • Standard processing – Only USD $110.99, it is the cheapest option you have. iVisa will have your application processed within 7 days.

  • Rush processing – for USD $141.99, your visa will be ready within 5 days.

  • Super Rush processing – you can have your application processed within just 4 days if you select this option. Viable for urgent situations. You will be charged USD $176.99 for this option.

Travelers with Myanmar eVisa can legally stay a maximum stay of 28 days in total with Single entry. Also, the eVisa is valid for 90 days after issued.

These document enable Colombians to enter the country on specified points of entry:

  • Yangon International Airport, Naypyidaw Airport, and Mandalay International Airport if you travelled by air.

  • If you go by land, you are permitted to enter through Tachileik, Myawaddy, and Kaethaung land border checkpoints.
