Myanmar visa for Greek

Greek who travel to Myanmar and qualify for an electronic visa is no longer required to visit an embassy. Instead, they can apply for a visa online, from the comfort of their own home. To learn whether or not you qualify for a Myanmar evisa, all you have to do is access the Visa Checker on iVisa’s website (upper-right corner). From the drag-down menu, select your nationality and choose Myanmar as your destination. You will know in just a second if you are eligible. Furthermore, if you do qualify, you will be instructed on how to apply. It is as simple as that.

Myanmar

What do you need?

Using iVisa’s services will make your job of applying a whole lot easier than going to an embassy. However, Greek needs to provide a few things to help them do your work. Here is a list of what you need to come up with:

  • Valid passport – getting a passport should not be challenging for you, and if you already have one, make sure that it is still valid. An expired passport will lead to a rejected application, and you will waste time and money.

  • Digital photo of yourself – the photo should be as recent as possible, and make sure that it meets the criteria (white background, no face gestures, etc.)

  • E-mail address – while the visa will be linked to your passport electronically, you need a copy to show at the immigration office in Myanmar. iVisa will send you one via e-mail in PDF format. Print a few copies so that you can put one in each bag. That way, if you lose one, you have a spare or two.

  • Means of payment – during the application process, you will be asked to make the payment for both the visa and service fee for iVisa. You can do that using a credit or debit card, and if you have Paypal, you can use that as well.

How to apply?

The application process designed by iVisa could not be easier. There are three simple steps Greek needs to complete, and if you need any help, you can call the support service that is made available for you day and night.

The first step asks Greek to fill in your general information such as name, address, e-mail, passport info, and any other information that can lead to your identification. You must also choose a processing time, depending on what you need or how much money you are willing to spend. Here are the available options:

  • Standard processing – selecting this option means that your application will be processed within three business days. It is the cheapest option you have. It costs only $70.

  • Rush processing – this time, your visa will be ready within two business days, and you will be charged $100 for it.

  • Super Rush processing – if you find yourself in a hurry or if you have an emergency, you can choose this option and have your application processed within just 1 business day. You will be charged $130 for this option.

The second step asks you to make the payment using one of the methods mentioned above, and have a quick look at what you did during step one. It is crucial that all the information you insert is accurate. You cannot make any modifications to your visa once the application is processed. You would be required to go through the process once more.

The last step will require you to answer a set of personal questions and upload some documents. Not all Greek is expected to upload the same amount, so do not panic if you are asked to upload some additional documents. For instance, if you travel with a minor child, you need to upload more than a person who is traveling alone.

You can use the Myanmar evisa 90 days after issue, and it will allow Greek to stay inside the country for maximum 28 days. You have a single entry. Also, remember that this type of document is accepted only at a few particular points of entry: Yangon International Airport, Naypyidaw Airport, and Mandalay International Airport. Greek travelling by land needs to cross at Tachileik, Myawaddy, and Kaethaung land border checkpoints. Any other point of entry requires a consular visa.
