Frequently Asked Questions // FAQs

I'm from Paraguay, do I need a visa to enter New Zealand?

People from Paraguay need to apply for a visa to travel to New Zealand. Sadly, iVisa doesn't render an e-Visa to this country at the moment, but you'll enjoy this option very soon. You can only apply for a consular visa by going to an embassy, at least for now.

How long can I stay in New Zealand?

If you're from Paraguay, you can stay in New Zealand for 90 days per entry.

What are the requirements?

The first thing on your checklist should concern the requirements. You need to make sure that you have whatever is necessary for the online application process. Fortunately, you do not need much. Here is what iVisa will ask for:

  • Valid Passport – If you're Paraguayan and you need to apply online you must get a passport. You also have to make sure that it is valid for at least 3 months from your flying date from New Zealand.

  • Digital Passport Photograph – This picture has to be the most recent possible and it must obey all the proper guidelines.

  • Payment Options – iVisa will ask you to make the payment while filling in the application form. You can do that with a credit or a debit card, but you can also pay using PayPal.

  • Valid e-mail address – iVisa will send you the ETA via e-mail in PDF format. We recommend you to print a few physical copies.

  • Means of sustenance – once you arrive in New Zealand, you have to prove that you can provide for yourself during your trip. A bank account statement should be enough.

  • Return flight ticket – you need to show a return flight ticket to your country of origin (or another destination if you are in transit) upon arrival. If you do not have this ticket, then you must prove that you have enough money to buy one.

  • Proof of good behaviour– if you possess a criminal history, you need to disclose it.

What are the fees and the processing times?

How much money you spend on your New Zealand ETA depends on how fast you need or want it. iVisa gives you three options so that you can choose the one that the most convenient for you. They are as follows:

  • Standard processing – selecting this option means that you receive your New Zealand ETA within 4 days, and you will be charged USD $179.99.
  • Rush processing – this time, the processing takes only 3 days, but you are charged USD $217.99.
  • Super Rush processing – since this is the fastest option, it is also the most expensive. Your visa is ready within 2 days, and you need to pay USD $280.99 for it.

How can I apply?

You need to access the application page to see how the form looks like. However, what we can tell you is that it will take you about 20 minutes to complete, and iVisa’s customer support is available 24/7 if you need some help.

  1. To get a clearer picture, the first step asks you to provide your personal information and select a processing time for your application.

  2. The second step consists of payment and revision.

  3. The third step requires you to upload the supporting documents of your application. When you are done, submit the form and iVisa will take it from there.

As you can see, getting a New Zealand ETA for the citizens of Paraguay is not a challenging task. iVisa can be very helpful. The ETA is valid for 2 years after issued and you can use it with Multiple entry to the country.
