The Department of Immigration and Citizenship Services makes the final decision on whether or not a foreign citizen is allowed to enter Nigeria. Required Documents for Application and Entry

It is best to get all of your required documents together before applying for your Nigerian Tourist e-Visa as it will make it faster for you to finish. At minimum, you will need to supply:

Your return ticket will need to show you are leaving Nigeria before the expiration date on your e-Visa. Your passport will need to have at least 6 months of validity left from the day you plan to arrive in Nigeria.

When you arrive in Nigeria, you will have to present your Arrival Approval Letter and your passport as well as your departure ticket showing your plan to leave Nigeria. Present these documents at the “Visa on Arrival” area at your port of entry, and you will be issued your Visa on Arrival. It’s simple!
