Greece

You can see some of the colossal historical monuments in the capital Athens. The Acropolis is home to the major and iconic ancient site: the Parthenon, built in homage to the goddess Athena Parthenos, patron and protectress of the city.

Besides its history, Greece is known by tourists for its gorgeous islands. Crete is one of them. The largest Greek Islands offer a turquoise blue ocean and a rich culture to explore. The area is dotted with Byzantine ramparts, a Venetian harbor, Turkish hammams, and an Ottoman-era mosque.

For those looking for a party but also to relax, Mykonos has astonishing landscapes to enjoy. It is also known for its lively nightlife and famous beach clubs.

Santorini is also a magical destination in Greece. The island keeps the peak of an enormous volcano, which gives it a relief full of dramatic slopes. But the sea is peaceful, and the sunset is something to never forget.

Portugal

The land of Porto's wine! Portugal is a unique country for wine lovers to enjoy the beach, history, and excellent gastronomy. You must be ready to taste many delicious seafood dishes on this trip.

The capital Lisbon has some historical attractions, such as Castelo de São Jorge, Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and the Torre de Belém. The last two are in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Additionally, it's the city to try the delicious egg custard tart pastry.

Porto is one of the most important cities in the country, located at the mouth of the River Douro. It's a strategic place for commerce, and that's why the city gives its name to the famous wines from Portugal. Some iconic landmarks are the Ponte Dom Luís I and the Torre dos Clérigos.

Another place worth visiting is Sintra, a charming city ideal for a day trip from the capital. The Castelo dos Mouros, a medieval castle, and the Palaces, like the Palácio da Pena and the Palácio Nacional, recount Portugal's history.

Germany

The country has historic cities and lovely small towns. There are options for tourists who love forests and mountains and those who love big cities full of history.

The German capital, Berlin, is a vibrant city. You have plenty of museums to visit, art galleries, and fantastic restaurants and bars. One of the landmarks is the colossal sandstone Brandenburg Gate, modeled on the Acropolis in Athens and built for King Frederick William II in 1791.

In the Kölner Dom, you will be impressed by the details of the Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Mary, a masterpiece of High Gothic architecture and one of the largest cathedrals in Europe. Other attractions are the South Towers, a good place for panoramic views of the town, and the Three Kings Chapel, with 12th and 13th-century stained glass.

Munich is the third-biggest city and an excellent addition to a German itinerary. The Marienplatz is the city's heart; the vast square still draws crowds of people, offering trendy cafés, restaurants, and boutique stores. Many cities travel there in October when the town holds Oktoberfest, a festival with games, amusement rides, music, parades, and a lot of beer!
