Moldova is one of the 15 countries in the world whose citizens qualify for a Singapore e-visa. What does that mean? It means that as a Moldavian citizen, you are no longer required to go to the nearest Singaporean embassy to apply for your visa. Instead, you can apply from the comfort on your home using a laptop or smartphone with an internet connection. iVisa is the one that makes the whole thing possible.

What are the requirements?

One of the best things about iVisa is that it asks very little of you. Your effort is minimal. However, you still need to help the service get the process started. To do that, you need to provide some documents and some information. What you need to give is as follows:

  • Passport – everyone who wants an electronic visa must hold a valid passport that does not expire for at least another 6 months from the date of departure from Singapore

  • Digital photo – the picture must not be older than 3 months and meet all the other guidelines for a passport photo.

  • Valid e-mail address – iVisa will send you your visa via e-mail in PDF format. Do not forget to print it out before departure. Preferably in multiple copies so that you have at least one spare.

  • Means of online payment – the payment must be made during the application process, which is why you must have a credit/debit card. However, if you use PayPal, Alipay, or WeChat, iVisa accepts those as well. Whichever you find more convenient.

  • Return flight ticket – you will be asked to present it when you arrive in Singapore. The immigration officers just want to make sure that you do not overstay your welcome.

Singapore visa for the citizens of Moldova – the application form

After you gather everything that is required of you, you can move on and fill in the online application form. You do not have to worry about it being complicated. In fact, it is quite simple. It should take you approximately 20 minutes to finish, and if you need help, iVisa has a non-stop customer support service that is free of charge. You can call whenever you want.

The application form on iVisa’s website has three steps. Step number one covers your personal information. It also asks you to select the processing time that best suits your needs, but keep in mind that the faster you want your Singapore visa, the more you have to pay for it.

The second step asks you to make the payment and revise step number one. The revision is more important than you think since a single error, no matter how insignificant it may seem, can invalidate your visa and you have to repeat the process. Double-Check your form for typos and inaccuracies.

Lastly, step number three requires you to provide the necessary documents such as a passport scan and your photo. Additional documents may be required, but that is on a case-by-case basis. Once you are done, you submit your application and wait.

The bottom line is that a Singapore visa for the citizens of Moldova is easy to obtain. It is easy to apply when someone else makes most of the effort, isn’t it? iVisa will handle all the bureaucracy so that your concern with some other things. The document you receive is valid for 90 days since the issue date, and you are granted multiple entries. Also, the period of time you spend in Singapore cannot exceed 30 days per entry.
