The ETIAS is a new electronic authorization for people traveling to Europe, more specifically to any of the countries that are part of the Schengen zone. With the goal to keep these countries safer by having a register of travelers entering the Schengen zone from a non-European country, this permit will be mandatory by 2023.

Fill me in

At iVisa.com we not only provide all the information you may need, but we also put our services at your disposal, so you can always apply for the ETIAS with us, knowing that all your expectations will be met.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which countries are members of the Schengen area?

There are 26 European countries conforming to the Schengen Zone, that we can also start identifying as ETIAS countries. These are: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Poland, and Portugal. Twenty-two of the twenty-eight European Union countries are included (except for the United Kingdom and Ireland since they have their own requirements), and there are four non-European Union Schengen members (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland).

It is important to know the names of these countries, in case you’re planning to visit more than one country during your trip. However, first you must enter the country that is listed as your first visit, which in this case, is Sweden. After entering Sweden, then you can move around the neighboring countries for a total of 90 days in a period calendar of 180 days.
