Thailand visa for Mauritians (Visa on Arrival)

Mauritius is on the list of 21 countries whose citizens have access to a Thailand visa on arrival. If you are a Mauritian, when you go to Thailand, you are no longer needed to go to a Thai embassy to get your visa. • Means of payment – by applying online, you must pay iVisa for its services. You can make the payment using a credit or a debit card. If you have a Paypal account, you can use that as well.

At your arrival in Thailand, an immigration officer may also ask you to tell him why you wish to enter Thailand. He just wants to make sure that your visit will not exceed the allowed 15 days.

Processing time and visa fees

• Super Rush processing – this is the fastest option you can find. It costs $70, but your application is processed in as little as 15 minutes. It is ideal for people who want their visa fast.

You should know that iVisa will not give you the Thailand visa on arrival itself. They just send you the application form so that you can fill it in before your trip. That will save you quite some time when you arrive in Thailand. When you get there, all you need to do is pay for the visa and receive your stamp. The Thailand visa for Mauritians costs 2000 THB, just like for anyone else. You need to pay for it at the service counter using only Thai currency. It allows a 15-day stay in Thailand, and you have multiple entries.
