You can take a leisurely stroll along the Dubai Marina, or maybe you'd prefer to cool off at the world-famous Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi. Leave the visa details to us, and focus on planning which experiences you'll pack into your UAE visit. We're here to ensure that the visa process is as smooth as your travels.
Do US citizens need a UAE Transit Visa?
US citizens holding ordinary passports who are transiting through the UAE don’t need to apply for a transit visa.
However, US citizens traveling on diplomatic or official passports through Abu Dhabi International Airport with intentions to leave the airport must apply for a UAE Transit Visa.
This visa is specifically for those with stopovers of more than 8 hours, offering a unique opportunity to discover the UAE for a short time. Issued for either 48 or 96 hours, the visa permits a single entry and must be used within the specified timeframe without the option for extension.
For travelers issued a 48-hour visa, it's important to plan your visit so that you depart the UAE within 48 hours of arrival. This condition also applies to the 96-hour visa.
The process for applying for this specific visa can seem confusing, but you don’t have to do it alone when a visa service like ours is available to you.
We take the hassle out of the process, so you can spend more time planning the fun parts of your UAE stopover. With us, you're set for a worry-free application, letting you focus on making the most of your travels.
