The US Electronic Diversity Visa Lottery or Green Card Lottery is a program created by the Department of State.

It allows up to 55.000 randomly selected people to obtain a Green Card or permanent residency Paper Visa.

If you are selected and you win the DV Lottery Program, you will need to enter the United States within 6 months from the date of issuance of your new Green Card.

What is the US Electronic Diversity Visa Lottery?
The US Electronic Diversity Visa Lottery or Green Card Lottery is a program created by the Department of State that allows up to 55.000 randomly selected people to obtain a Green Card or permanent residency paper visa.
This program was created to receive more diverse immigrants from countries with a lower immigration rate to the US. The winners will receive a residence card, also known as a Green Card.

About the Diversity Visa
The Diversity Visa will allow you to live in the United States as a permanent resident. If you are selected as a winner, you must enter the country within six months from the date your new visa is issued.

Which countries can apply for the DV Lottery?

How can I apply for the DV Lottery Program?

In addition, waiting to receive an interview at the embassy can take up to 14 months.
