If you are planning a trip to Uzbekistan, chances are that you need a visa to enter the country. If you are lucky enough, you may qualify for an Uzbekistan electronic visa, which you can obtain online using the services rendered by iVisa. To check your eligibility, you can use iVisa’s Visa Checker. It will tell you everything you need to know, and if you do qualify for the e-visa, you can even apply right there on the spot.

The Uzbekistan visa application does not impose any difficulties. It should take you about 20 minutes to complete the form, and should you need any help, iVisa has a fantastic support service that is available 24/7. Even so, you should not have a tough time completing it. The language is unambiguous and iVisa asks only what is strictly necessary for the release of the document.

Before completing the application form, make sure that you have all the documents necessary for the process. The list is not long, and nothing on it is challenging to obtain.

There are three steps you need to go through. The first one requires you to insert your personal information as well as some info regarding your trip. At this point, you must also choose a processing time.

Keep in mind that the option you select determines the cost of your visa. iVisa came up with three excellent choices:

  • Standard processing time – your Uzbekistan e-visa is ready within 5 business days, and you will be charged $40 for it.

  • Rush processing time – your application is processed within 72 hours, and the cost is $60.

  • Super Rush processing time – this is the fastest option you have at hand. Your visa will arrive in your e-mail inbox within 48 hours, but you will be charged $80.

The second step consists of payment and revision. It is of the utmost importance that you make sure all the information you provide is accurate and correct. Check for typos, and if you have to, read your application two or three times. This is because there is no coming back from an error. You must re-apply if you make a mistake. If there are discrepancies between your passport and your visa, the document is considered invalid.

As for payment, iVisa gives you multiple options. You can pay using a credit or debit card, and if you are registered with PayPal, you can use that as well.

The last step is reserved for additional document upload. You will be asked to upload all the documents that go along with your Uzbekistan visa application. You are notified about everything you need to provide. Also, some applicants may be required to upload more documents than others. That is because not all circumstances are alike. For example, if you travel with a minor, you may need a letter of authorization from the parent that is not traveling with you.

After you go through all three steps, you can submit your application. The Uzbekistan e-visa will arrive via e-mail in the timeframe you selected during step one. The visa is linked to your passport electronically, but you still need to print out a copy so that you can show at immigration. We recommend that you print multiple copies so that you have a spare just in case you lose one. The document is valid for 90 days, and you can use it for a single entry. The time you spend in Uzbekistan cannot exceed 30 days. If you do not comply, you will be obliged to pay a fine. Also, some legal action can be taken against you.
