- South Korea (max. stay of 30 days)
- Singapore (max. stay of 30 days)
Unless otherwise mentioned, a maximum stay of 90 days is allowed.

Do children and minors require a transit visa for Suriname?
Yes, minors from eligible countries require this visa just like adults. Additional documents, such as parental consent, may be required for the visa application.

Costs and processing time of the Suriname Transit Visa

What is the difference between a Suriname Transit Visa and the Suriname Entry Fee?
The Suriname Transit Visa is specifically for travelers passing through Suriname to another destination. It allows a short visit for transit purposes only, not for extended stays, work, or study.
It's a visa you need to apply for before your trip if you're from a country that isn't visa-exempt.
The Suriname Entry Fee must be paid by visitors entering Suriname via Johan Adolf Pengel Airport, French Guiana, or Guyana borders for tourism or business. If you have a transit visa, you don’t need to pay the Entry Fee to enter the country.
How can I track the status of my Suriname Transit Visa application?
There are two ways to track the status of your application:
